To sell real estate in Washington, you need a real estate Broker's license which authorizes you to sell real estate under the supervision of a real estate firm with a Designated Broker. Before you can take the State license exam, you have to complete a 60 clock hour course in WA Real Estate Fundamentals and a 30 clock hour course in WA Real Estate Practices.

WA State Licensing Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old and have successfully completed an approved 90-hour course in real estate fundamentals and practices within five years prior to taking the licensing exam. A high school diploma or its equivalent is NOT a requirement for a Real Estate Brokers license.
